Lens Technology

Frame styling is important, but the latest lens technology is where you'll see a clear difference! Our highly trained dispensary staff will provide the appropriate recommendations so you will: See Better, Look Better and Feel Better.  Use our eyeglass guide  to help you make a great frame selection!
Free-Form Lenses
The most popular type of high-definition eyeglass lenses are called free-form lenses. The term "free-form" refers to an advanced manufacturing process that reduces higher-order aberrations such as spherical aberration that occur in eyeglass lenses created with traditional eyeglass lens manufacturing tools and processes. With free-form lenses (also called digital high-definition lenses), the fabrication of the lenses from wearer's eyeglass prescription is optimized with computer-controlled surfacing equipment that is much more precise than conventional tools. The fabrication of some digital, free-form lenses also takes into account how the lenses are positioned in front of the wearer's eyes when in the eyeglass frame, to provide the most accurate lens power and the sharpest vision possible.
Blue Light Protection
You rely on your devices. From the living room to the conference room to the classroom, your world runs smoother thanks to smartphones, tablets, and computers. But the same technology that simplifies your life can put a strain on your eyes. Today’s digital screens and energy-efficient lighting emit blue light that can contribute to eye strain.

Light Reactive Lenses
Light reactive lenses change from light to dark in the presence of ultraviolet light.  These lenses will protect the eyes from 100% of harmful UV rays. Light reactive lenses are made to adapt to your environment, whether you are in the office or outside in the sun - they give you a more comfortable viewing experience.

Anti-glare Coatings
Anti-glare coatings not only improve the appearance of your new eyewear selection, but more importantly, they help to improve your vision!  Anti-glare coatings enhance night vision and increase comfort during prolonged computer use. The most advanced anti-glare coatings are now available in scratch resistant and smudge resistant designs.
Polarized Lenses
Polarized lenses offer high performance vision for your sunwear.  Polarization blocks glare caused by light reflections and provides 100% UV protection! Polarized lenses allow you to see with greater clarity, improved color perception, and increased comfort for all your outdoor activities.
